Tomorrow marks the beginning of market season for Vermont Yak Company.
We just unloaded sixteen boxes of meat into our farm freezers.
Ground yak burger, ribs, sirloins, shin steaks, porterhouses, tenderloins, t-bones - and more.
We even have organs - hearts, tongues, and livers - for the uber-adventurous eaters.
The only item we don't have yet are our signature yak sausages - but we hope to have them in time for July 4th market.

We'll be selling every Saturday this summer from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Waitsfield Farmer's Market on Route 100 in downtown Waitsfield.
