YAK TRACKS: Yakking About Yak Hides

In our never-ending quest to use all of all of our animals once we "retire" them, we are drying, salting and then tanning yak hides in a two-step process here on the farm, and in conjunction with Keystone Fur Dressing in Pennsylvania.



Yak hides make wonderful rugs, wall hangings, or blankets.
